TV host and actor Anushree is making her comeback with a horror film. The film, directed by Prabhakaran, is titled Saithan. The title was officially unveiled by Aditi Prabhudeva, Bhavana Rao, and dialogue writer Maasti among others on Friday.

The film is produced by director Lohith, who is known for Mummy Save Me. Lohith says that Saithan is the apt title for this film. "The film is about God and demons, and explores the cult of devil worship," says Lohith. The horror drama, inspired by a few real-life events, is said to be the first attempt in Indian cinema.

The entire film is set in the backdrop of Goa. Saithan marks the debut of DOP Krish Kymal. Nobin Paul, the music director of Devaki and 777 Charlie, will be working on this project.
