The teaser of late actor Puneeth Rajkumar's last feature film James will release on February 11, announced makers of the film on Twitter. The announcement has since gone viral on the social media platform. The teaser will come out at 11.11 am. 

Santhosh Ananddram released the announcement poster and captioned the picture, "1,2,3,4,5 Staaarrr…..We all Love You #Powerstar." Before this, the team had released a special poster of the film featuring Puneeth in a soldier's uniform, holding a rifle. 

James is billed as an action romantic film and it also stars R Sharath Kumar, Shine Shetty, Anu Prabhakar, Adithya Menon, Rangayana Raghu, Sadhu Kokila, and Chikkanna in important roles. The music for the film is composed by Charaj Raj and the cinematography is by Swamy J Gowda. 

James will also bring the three Rajkumar brothers together for the first time on screen as  Raghavendra Rajkumar and Shivarajkumar will be seen in a special role in the film. The filmmakers are reportedly aiming to release the film on March 17, which marks the birth anniversary of Puneeth Rajkumar. It has also been speculated that the makers of RRR have made way for James, by releasing the film a week later.
