Thinking of Rolex now might make us immediately connect it to Suriya's powerful cameo in the recent Kamal Haasan-starrer, Vikram. 

Using the popularity of the name, director Srinivasa Mandya, who made his debut with Bill Gates, has titled his next film Rolex.

Billed as a comedy film, Rolex will star Komal (Govindaya Namaha) as the lead. The project is expected to go on floors in January 2023. Backed by Anil Kumar S under the Phoenix Entertainments banner, Roles will have Jassie Gift scoring the music, and Rakesh C Tilak handling the cinematography.

Meanwhile, Komal is currently shooting for director Murali's Namo Bhootatma 2, and he will next begin working on Rolex.
