Ace producer Kalaipuli S Thanu unveiled the first-look poster of Yogi Babu's upcoming film Veerappanin Gajana. Directed by debutant Yash and produced by Prabadish Samz, the film is billed as an adventure thriller with all elements of a masala film.

Produced Prabadish and Raatchasi director Gauthamraj have written the film, which is based on the life of notorious sandalwood smuggler Veerappan and the Sathyamangal forest of Tamil Nadu. The film was shot in the southern part of the state like Tenkasi and Nagercoil. 

In addition to Yogi Babu, the film also stars Mottai Rajender, Deva, Rajesh, Pooja, and Jeevitha in prominent roles. The makers are planning to release the film in theatres.

Yogi Babu, who is increasingly playing the lead roles in films, was last seen in one of the segments of Navarasa anthology. He has numerous upcoming films in his kitty including Doctor, Valimai, Ayalaan, Aranmanai 3, and Beast.
