During the Aniplex Online Fest 2024 organised by Japanese entertainment company Aniplex, it was revealed that the second season of Solo Leveling will premiere in January 2025. Additionally, it was also revealed that an anime film titled Solo Leveling - Reawakening will be released theatrically in Japan and Korea in November 2024. Reawakening will feature a recap of the previous events in addition to having the first two episodes of Season 2.

Solo Leveling is produced by A-1 Pictures, directed by Shunsuke Nakashige, and written by Noboru Kimura. It aired earlier this year on Crunchyroll in the Americas, Europe, Oceania, and India. The second season is titled Arise from the Shadow.

The series is set in a world where hunters have to battle out monsters to protect humankind. It is written by Chugong.
