Sebastian Roche to make K-drama debut with Queen Of Tears

Park Ji-eun has written Queen of Tears which is helmed by Jang Young-woo and Kim Hee-won

Netflix's Queen of Tears is all set to mark the K-drama debut of actor Sebastian Roché. The film, which will premiere on the platform on March 9, will feature the actor as Dr Braun, a German doctor who has an intriguing relationship with the two protagonists. 

Queen of Tears, which comes from Studio Dragon, Showrunners and Culture Depot, will revolve around a third-generation heiress of the Queens Group, Hong Hae-in (Kim Ji-won), who is also the queen of department stores, whose husband of three years is Yongdu-ri village chief's son Baek Hyeon-u (Kim Soo-hyun), the prince of supermarkets. A crisis in their marriage helps them discover a miraculous new dawn that makes them embark on a new journey in their romance. 

Park Sung-hoon, Kwak Dong-yeon, and Lee Joo Bin form the supporting cast of the film, along with a guest appearance by Song Joongki. Park Ji-eun has written Queen of Tears which is helmed by Jang Young-woo and Kim Hee-won.
