Apple TV+ announces its first German series Where’s Wanda

Apple TV+ announced its first German-language series, titled Where’s Wanda, an eight-episode dark comedy series.

It stars Heike Makatsch, Axel Stein, Lea Drinda, Leo Simon, Palina Rojinski and Nikeata Thompson, among others. As per the platform, Where’s Wanda will tell the story of Dedo and Carlotta Klatt who are in search of their daughter months after her disappearance. But when even the police cannot help, they take matters on their hands to discover the secrets underlying.

Devid Striesow, Joachim Król, Jasmin Shakeri, Kostja Ullmann are also part of the cast. The show is directed by Christian Ditter and Tobi. It is written by Oliver Lansley and based on a story by Zoltan Spirandelli.

Where’s Wanda is produced by UFA Fiction, a Fremantle company, for Apple TV+.
