It's a wrap for Netflix's Spanish film Familia

Familia, the upcoming film directed by Rodrigo Gracia, will premiere on Netflix. According to the streaming platform, the film tells the story of a peculiar family and explores the complexities of cohabitation around a decision that will change them forever. Gracia is known for helming films like Mother and Child and Albert Nobbs.

The latest update is that the film was shot in Mexico's Valle de Guadalupe and the production was completed on May 19. Produced by Gerado Gatica, the film stars Daniel Giménez Cacho, Ilse Salas, Cassandra Ciangherotti, Natalia Solian, and Maribel Verdú, among others.

In a statement, Rodrigo García said, "Shooting Familia has been a great experience. This is my first time directing in Mexico. Great producers, collaborators, several of my favorite Mexican actors and actresses, and Netflix’s full support have made this project an unforgettable trip back home."
