The makers of Squid Game 2, the upcoming second season of the Netflix Korean series, have added new cast members for the new installment. Park Gyu-young, Jo Yu-ri, Kang Ae-sim, Lee David, Lee Jin-uk, Choi Seung-hyun, Roh Jae-won, and Won Ji-an are set to appear in the second season.

Lee Byung-hun, Wi Ha-jun, Jun-ho. Gong Yoo will also return as cast members.

Titled Squid Game: The Challenge, the second season will premiere in November and consist of 10 episodes. Squid Game is set in a dystopian economic environment of Korea where game participants are picked to compete against each other in different levels that are designed using simple Korean street games.

The core plot of the second season will be revenge and key figures that controlled the working of the games.
