Netflix has announced a new mystery series titled The Trunk. The show will feature Korean artists Seo Hyun-jin and Gong Yoo.

“The story draws a whirlwind of unforeseen events and secrets after a mystifying trunk is found in the depths of a lake,” reads the synopsis of the show.

While Seo Hyun-jin is known for her roles in Another Miss Oh, The Beauty Inside, the actor will essay the role of employee at a matchmaking organization in The Trunk. On the other hand, Gong Yoo who has appeared in Guardian: The Lonely and Great God, Squid Game, The Silent Sea, will be seen as a music producer who finds himself in an unexpected marriage contract.

The show is penned by Park Eun-young and directed by Kim Gyu-tae.

A release date for the show is yet to be announced.
