Marry My Dead Body, the upcoming Taiwanese horror comedy film will premiere on Netflix on August 10. The film will reflect on the unique tradition of ghost marriage. Featuring a ghost marriage between Wu Ming-Han (Hsu Kuang Han) and Mao Pang-Yu (Austin Lin), the film incorporates elements of fantasy, supernatural, and LGBTQ+ concerns.

According to the streaming platform, Marry My Dead Body is about a homophobic cop, who is afraid of ghosts. However, while collecting evidence for a case, he accidentally picks up a red envelope and is forced to marry Mao Pang-Yu (Austin Lin), who died under mysterious circumstances. What follows next is how the duo work through their differences, unite to solve the case, and seek justice for Mao.
