Netflix released the trailer for Zombieverse which is set to premiere on August 8. The upcoming survival series is set in Seoul, South Korea's capital.  

The trailer reveals contestants seeking to escape flesh-eating zombies as carnage has taken over downtown Seoul. A newsreader informs us that several civilians have been coming down with an unidentifiable infection which shows unusual, violent symptoms. Zombies are seen attacking people in shops, theme parks and car parks around the city. 

A group of survivors will have to work together to find food, water, transport and shelter. They're eliminated if they get bitten, and are given daily tasks to survive. Lee Si-young, Na-rae, rapper DinDin, Yoo Hee-kwan, and Kim Jin-young are among the contestants. 

Park Jin-kyung, producer of My Little Television and Moon Sang-don known for backing  Hey! First Time in Korea?, will be producing Zombieverse
