The Burning Body miniseries will premiere on Netflix on September 8.  Produced by Arcadia Motion Pictures, The Burning Body is inspired by the crime that took place in 2017, when a man appeared burned in the Foix reservoir, in the province of Barcelona.

Jorge Torregrossa has directed and executive produced the series. It is written by Laura Sarmiento. Actors Úrsula Corberó and Quim Gutiérrez play police officers Rosa and Albert. According to the makers, The Burning Body revolves around a series of events that unfold after a body of a police officer, Pedro, is found burned inside a car in the Foix reservoir. The investigation into the case revealed a slew of toxic relationships, networks, deceits, sexual scandals, and violence among several police officers in Barcelona.
