Netflix announces a series on the longest airline hijacking in Latin America's history

The upcoming series is created and directed by Pablo González and Camilo Prince

Netflix recently announced they are creating a new Colombian series based on the longest airline hijacking in Latin America's History. It will star Mónica Lopera, Christian Tappan, Enrique Carriazo, Marcela Benjumea, and Ángela Cano. The series' production is underway. It is inspired by real events that happened on May 30, 1973. It may be noted that two armed and hooded individuals hijacked and threatened to blow up Flight 601 if the Colombian government doesn't release its 50 political prisoners and pays them a hefty ransom in cash.

The upcoming series is created and directed by Pablo González and Camilo Prince. It will have 6 episodes and it is produced by Miracol Media.  Pedro Dávila, Oscar Botía, Natalia Echeverri, Pablo González and Camilo Prince serve as the executive producers.
