The first poster showcasing the characters of the upcoming Punjabi film Godday Godday Chaa was unveiled recently.

Starring Sonam Bajwa, Tania, Gitaz Bindrakhia and Gurjazz in pivotal roles, the film is written by Qismat 2 fame Jagdeep Sidhu and is directed by the National award-winning director Vijay Kumar Arora.

Talking about the film, Sonam said, "I believe it is essential to convey such monumental stories. Godday Godday Chaa is a satirical take on the patriarchal society and the rituals prevalent back in the day. My character Rani has an intriguing graph, and overall, it is a beautiful, heart-warming film.”

Director Vijay Arora added, “Godday Godday Chaa is a feel-good film that takes on the male-dominated society of the earlier times in a heart-warming manner.”

Tania further stated, "Godday Godday Chaa is a very special film. It not only talks about how women own the world but also how they can change the world together, that too in a light-hearted way.”

The film is slated to release in theatres on May 26.
