Following the trailer, the makers of Dasvi have released the first song from the film, Macha Macha. The song sees Abhishek Bachchan in a masala mood as a corrupt politician turned prisoner. As Ganga Ram Chowdhary, Abhishek shows off a few moves in front of his fellow inmates. He's also seen twirling his moustache in prideful self-affection.

Macha Macha is composed by Sachin-Jigar, with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The high-on-energy track is voiced by Mika Singh, Divya Kumar and Sachin-Jigar, with rap by Mellow D.

Dasvi tells the story of a Chief Minister who is arrested in a recruitment scam. Determined to make a change, he decides to clear his class 10th board exams from prison. The film is loosely based on the life of former Haryana CM Om Prakash Chautala. Besides Abhishek, the film also features Nimrat Kaur and Yami Gautam.

Dasvi streams on Jio Cinema and Netflix from April 7.
