Heropanti 2 trailer out: Nawazuddin Siddiqui is Laila, Tiger Shroff is Babloo

CE Features

Laila (Nawazuddin Siddiqui), a lethal gangster-magician, controls the world's cybercrime in Heropanti 2. To catch him we need Babloo (Tiger Shroff). We really do. Babloo has great agility, power, strength, intensity, and speed. He also listens! ("Pull down your pants," he's told, and he does). Babloo's mission takes him to Laila. He's in China... we think...or Egypt. It's an action film for sure.

No, a comedy (cackles in Nawazuddin). It's also, incredibly, an 'AR Rahman musical', the phrase dropped in with as much seriousness as Laila's platinum streaks.

Heropanti 2's trailer is almost four minutes, and it pulls no punches. The film returns Tiger with Tara Sutaria, the two last seen together in abominable superhero costumes in Student of the Year 2. Of course, Zakir Hussain is on deck (he makes lines like 'I want Babloo Ranawat' sound plausible) and robed monks at a temple. There are cars, trains, choppers, explosions. It's all your deleted mobile games in one.

Heropanti 2 is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Ahmed Khan. The film releases in theatres on 29 April on the occasion of Eid.
