Actor Varun Dhawan recently shared a picture of himself, Sidharth Malhotra and the latter's wife Kiara Advani while his visit to the couple's residence. The reunion happened after the actor responded to a rapid fire question in Koffee with Karan, season 9, featuring Varun Dhawan and Jahnvi Kapoor.

Days after joking about their on-screen chemistry and suggesting him as his pick for an Indian adaptation of the Canadian series Heated Rivalry, Varun took to instagram with a picture, captioned,"Heated, yes, but never a rivalry with my brother. Thank u for the hospitality bhabhi ji." The playful picture showed Varun Dhawan taking a selfie with Sidharth Malhotra, with Kiara in the background striking a goofy pose.

Sidharth quickly reshared the post on his story that said "Bro, you'll always be my first." Filmmaker Karan Johar, who introduced the two actors in Student of the Year (SOTY) also joined the conversation on social media , writing, "Rohan and Abhimanyu! Heated Rivalry? Solid lifelong bond!", referring to their characters in SOTY.

When Karan Johar asked Varun to name the male co-star he would pick to headline an Indian adaptation of Heated Rivalry in Koffee with Karan, the actor promptly named Sidharth Malhotra. Varun joked that he felt the two could pull it off, thanks to their chemistry in Student of the Year.

Varun and Sidharth made their Bollywood debut alongside Alia Bhatt in Student of the Year, directed by Karan Johar in a coming-of-age romantic drama that revolves around three students. The two male actors compete to win the prestigious Student of the Year title in the romantic drama. Set against the backdrop of an elite school, the film explores themes of friendship, romance, rivalry and ambition.
