A new poster from Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming actioner King was unveiled by the makers on Tuesday. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film also features Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone and Abhishek Bachchan in pivotal roles. The film has been made from a story by Sujoy Ghosh, who was initially appointed as the director of the film but eventually stepped down over creative differences. King’s screenplay has been written by Siddharth, Sujoy, Suresh Nair and Sagar Pandya with dialogues by Abbas Tyrewala.

The new poster shows Shah Rukh in black, leathery overalls walking towards the camera, gun in hand, a thorny rose stem between his teeth amid a flaming background. “Aaj phir yaad aaya...
Qaatil nahi… Aashiq hoon… (Today I remembered again, I am a lover not a killer) #KING,” read the caption.

Previously a dialogue promo and a teaser of the film have been released by the makers.

King also stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Abhay Verma, and Arshad Warsi, amongst others, in key roles.

Directed by Siddharth and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures, King marks Shah Rukh’s second collaboration with him after their 2023 blockbuster Pathaan.
