Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh announced the name of their second daughter on the occasion of Dussehra on Tuesday. The couple took to Instagram to share a family photo with their elder daughter Dua and the younger one, revealing the latter’s name as Devi.

In the picture, Ranveer is seen holding Dua, as she kisses Devi, whom Deepika is holding. They all are dressed in off-white and golden hues. The caption reads, “Of Love & Abundance Devi Padukone Singh.”

Deepika and Ranveer welcomed their second child, another baby girl last month. They made the announcement on social media with a picture of baby feet, alongside a piece of text that reads, "Welcome baby girl." 

Devi is Deepika and Ranveer's second child. In September 2024, Deepika gave birth to a girl, whom the couple named Dua. They revealed her name in November 2024 and only introduced her face to those on social media a year later. In April this year, the couple announced their second pregnancy.

Deepika and Ranveer got married in November 2018 with a grand wedding ceremony in Lake Como, Italy.

On the work front, Ranveer is filming for Pralay, which is reportedly a post-apocalyptic action and survival thriller, directed by Jai Mehta and co-starring Kalyani Priyadarshan. His last two Dhurandhar films earned more than Rs 3000 crore from theatres worldwide.

Meanwhile, Deepika will next be seen in King, co-starring Shah Rukh Khan.
