Luv Ranjan, who began his career by launching 5 newcomers in his runaway hit Pyaar Ka Punchnama (2011), is now coming up with another production Pehli Pyaar Doosri Baar, that marks Hindi debut for all its lead actors — Sparsh Walia, Alisha Chopra, Kunal Vaid, Sakshi Vaidya, Tushar Chhibber and Sargun Kaur Luthra. The youth-centric rom-com is set for release on October 13. On Wednesday, the makers resumed the promotions by releasing new set of posters.

In the new posters, the theme is friends having each other’s backs through thick and thin — and suitably, the lead actors can be seen carrying that supportive and optimistic energy for each other. "When “I’ve got your back” is taken a little too literally," the post caption reads.

Directed by debutant filmmaker Anuj Saini, Pehla Pyaar Doosri Baar revolves around three friends—two guys and a girl who go for their school reunion and get into different relationships. As these relationships progress, they discover the trials, tribulations, allure and absurdities of love.

The official trailer of the film was unveiled a few weeks ago. In the past few days, the makers have been consistently releasing new singles from their film. Rochak Kohli has composed most songs for the film which has multiple lyricists on board like Kumaar and Raj Sekhar among others. Tanishk Bagchi has also composed a song for the film. Director Anuj Saini has also co-written the script alongwith Luv Ranjan and Jehan Handa.

Presented by Luv Films, and produced by Luv and Ankur Garg, Pehla Pyaar Doosri Baar is scheduled to release in theatre on October 23, 2026. At the box office, the film has stiff competition from films like Udta Teer, Tu Hai Meri Kiran, and more.
