Jahnvi Kapoor recently became a victim of AI-generated imagery after a few of her stills and clips from the 2024 film Devara were digitally manipulated and leaked online. In a recent interview, Drishyam actor Shriya Saran too spoke about being a victim of AI-morphed photos.

Speaking with News18, Shriya criticised the non-consensual morphing and uploading of celebrity images, stating, “It's kind of funny, sometimes I don't even know if it's me or not. They change the size of your b***s, suddenly the cape that you were wearing is gone or your a** looks bigger. You’ve to take it with a pinch of salt. Having said that, it’s annoying and it’s not right.”

Although she acknowledged the advantages of AI, she also ensured to point out the perils of depending too much on it. “The same thing applies to every technology and everyone has to either to learn to live with it or deal with it,” she added.

Shriya, who completed 25 years in the film industry this year, is currently basking in the success of Drishyam 3, the third and final instalment of Drishyam franchise headlined by Ajay Devgn. According to Sacnilk, Drishyam 3 has collected Rs 489.74 crores worldwide so far, out of which Rs 378 crores come from domestic box office.

Shriya's upcoming projects reportedly include Hera Pheri 3 and Race 4.
