Sanjay Dutt-headliner Aakhri Sawal which was supposed to release on Friday (May 8) will now be hitting the big screens a week later on May 15, the makers announced via a new poster on Thursday. As per reports, the film’s release has been pushed since the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has asked the makers to edit certain scenes and dialogues in the film.

The film is based on the 100-year journey of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), founded in 1925 by Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, and promises to explore aspects of the organisation's history and philosophy that have largely remained unknown to wider audiences.

Earlier the film’s trailer launch was also pushed owing to censor troubles. The trailer will now be out on Friday.

Directed by Abhijeet Mohan Warang, Aakhri Sawal also features Namashi Chakraborty, Amit Sadh, Sameera Reddy, Tridha Choudhury and Neetu Chandra. It has been written by Utkarsh Naithani and produced by Nikhil Nanda and Sanjay Dutt.
