Salman Khan’s superhero film to have The Avengers’ VFX team on board?

Renowned director duo Raj-DK are helming direction for the much-anticipated project, while Mythri Movie Makers serve as producers

While the makers are yet to officially announce the project, Salman Khan has reportedly signed a superhero film with director duo Raj-DK. The much-anticipated project is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Now reports are coming in about the makers are planning to raise the bar, as far as visual spectacle is concerned.

As per industry sources,  renowned VFX company Weta FX is in discussions to take charge of the visual effects for Raj & DK’s upcoming superhero film starring Salman Khan. The studio is known for delivering top-tier work on global projects like The Avengers, The Batman, The Last of Us, and Moon Knight, hinting at a massive visual scale for this film.

The decision to rope in Weta FX clearly indicates a focus on global audience, and an ambition for international-level production scale for their film. According to a few other reports, Kareena Kapoor Khan has been approached to play the female lead in the film.  

Raj-DK who began their feature film career with 99 (2009) are known for popular OTT shows like The Family Man, Farzi, and Citadel: Honey Bunny. They have also directed acclaimed films like Shor In The City (2011) and Go Goa Gone (2013).

Any official announcements about the project, meanwhile, are awaited.
