Dhurandhar: The Revenge is blazing at the box office. The Aditya Dhar directorial, headlined by Ranveer Singh, made Rs 62.85 crore on its second Saturday, taking the film’s total collection in India to Rs 778.77 crore net, while its worldwide gross now stands at Rs 1,255.44 crore, as per Sacnilk.com.

The most amount of collections came from the film’s Hindi version (Rs 58 crore), followed by Telugu (Rs 3 crore) and Tamil (Rs 1.4 crore). The Kannada and Malayalam versions were miniscule.

Owing to the weekend, Dhurandhar 2 had more takers for night shows with 62.08 per cent occupancy, followed by evening shows (60.15 per cent), afternoon shows (58 per cent) and morning shows at 35.23 per cent.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge also stars Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi and Sara Arjun.

CE’s review of the film read: “Dhurandhar: The Revenge is mythmaking at its cool, suave, stylish and high-octane best. If its filmmaking is arresting, its propaganda is even more unsubtle. The film seems to convey that everything that is happening is part of a bigger, masterful plan, mortal viewers like us will be unable to comprehend. If you are feeling distressed about the future of the country, about our standing in front of the US, about LPG shortage or fears of fuel crisis, just come, sit in the cinema hall and get lost in the movie magic, or better, spell. You are in safe hands.”
