SS Rajamouli, who is currently busy working on Mahesh Babu starrer Varanasi, penned a long and affectionate note for the Dhurandhar 2 team on Saturday morning, congratulating them for their accomplishment. 

Taking to his X page, Rajamouli wrote, “I loved Dhurandhar-1, but The Revenge surpassed the original in both scale and soul. The casting, technical execution, music, world design and direction are flawless…. But it’s the emotional stakes that really ground it.”

Praising Aditya Dhar for his scriptwriting, the Baahubali filmmaker penned, “The writing manages to weave plot twists that create genuine tension charged with emotion.Aditya Dhar, you hit it out of the park. It takes guts to make and release a film 4 hours long. The audience is glued to the seat till the last frame.”

Rajamouli also particularly praised the performances of Ranveer Singh and R Madhavan. 

Earlier this week, the Ranveer Singh starrer spy-actioner was earlier praised by many Telugu stars like Allu Arjun, Jr NTR, Vijay Deverakonda and Mahesh Babu. Meanwhile, the film has also received rave words from Bollywood figures like Sidharth Malhotra, Preity G Zinta and Rakesh Roshan.
