Dhurandhar: The Revenge, the Ranveer Singh starrer spy-actioner, is all set for a thunderous reception at the box office. Before releasing worldwide on March 19, the film also has special paid previews scheduled for Wednesday, which too have registered brilliant collections. By all estimates, Dhurandhar 2 is set to break multiple box office records, including the advance sales figures' record for any Hindi original film.

According to a report by industry tracker Sacnilk, Dhurandhar 2 has already sold more than 10 lakh tickets, for its preview shows and opening day combined. As of on Tuesday at 12pm, the film has earned more than Rs 70 crores at domestic box office and over Rs 65 crores in overseas market.

With nearly 24 hours to go before the paid previews begin, Dhurandhar 2 will probably add another 20-25 crores, at the least, to its advance collections, and is most likely to smoothly cross the Rs 150 crore mark in pre-sales alone, hence registering its place as the biggest Hindi film opener ever.

Additionally, the spy-actioner will also likely break the record for number of tickets sold in advance at national chains by any Hindi film, which is currently held by Baahubali 2 (2017) for its Hindi version.

Produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, the Aditya Dhar directorial also stars Sara Arjun, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, and Arjun Rampal in the lead cast. It also remains to be seen whether the sequel features Akshaye Khanna, whose character Rehman Dakait died in the first part.
