The makers of Junaid Khan-Sai Pallavi starrer Ek Din had released their film’s trailer online a few days ago. Additionally, the trailer will also be attached to the theatre prints of Dhurandhar: The Revenge, which is scheduled for worldwide release on March 19.
At the trailer launch event, Aamir Khan, who is producing Ek Din, described the film as ‘a classic love story with a little magic.’ Written and directed by Sunil Pandey, the film also marks Hindi debut for Sai Pallavi. Sneha Desai and Spandan Mishra have penned screenplay for the film, which is reportedly a remake of the 2016 Thai film One Day.
Ram Sampath is composing music for the film. The makers earlier released their film’s title track, which is sung by Arijit Singh. The film is produced by Aamir Khan, Mansoor Khan, and Aparna Purohit under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions.
Mansoor is also onboard as a creative producer for the film, making return to Hindi cinema after 18 years since Jaane tu Ya Jaane Na, where too he served as a creative producer.
Ek Din is scheduled to arrive in theatres on May 1, 2026, and currently is the only major Hindi release slated for that week.
