New poster of Dhurandhar 2 out; Ranveer Singh promises to unleash ‘The Wrath of God’

The Aditya Dhar directorial will also see Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt and R Madhavan reprise their roles

Ranveer Singh starrer Dhurandhar: The Revenge is all set for a worldwide theatrical release on March 19. The makers recently also announced their decision to hold paid preview shows on March 18, which have expectedly received a staggering response. On Monday, a new poster for the film was unveiled.

In the newly-released poster, Ranveer Singh dominates the imagery with his violent avatar. The poster also captures the two facets of his personality — Jaskirat and his alias Hamza, who will emerge as the king of Lyari underworld in the sequel. The poster overall carries a striking aura with its use of bold red brushstrokes. “The Wrath of God is coming,” Ranveer captioned his post on social media.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar 2 also features Sara Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, and Rakesh Bedi in the primary cast. Reportedly, Yami Gautam will be seen in a brief cameo as well.

For its paid preview shows, Dhurandhar 2 has also grossed over 18 crores, 9 days ahead of the scheduled screenings. Besides Hindi, the spy action-thriller will release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.

In the Telugu market, the film could face stiff competition from Pawan Kalyan starrer Ustaad Bhagat Singh, which too is slated for a March 19 release. However, with Yash’s Toxic now postponed to June, Dhurandhar 2 is looking at a massive opening at the ticket counters, and is likely to break many box office records. 

The film is produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar under B62 Studios banner, with Jio Studios onboard as presenter.
