A few days ago, Tanishk Bagchi had made a social media post, talking about not receiving any loyalties for his chartbuster track ‘Saiyaara’ from the film Saiyaara (2025). Although the composer deleted his post later, noted singer-composer Amaal Mallik has now alleged Tanishk of buying bot views and likes for his music, among many other allegations.
It is to be noted that Tanishk is the composer for the upcoming Yash-starrer Toxic. Without mentioning the movie title, however, Amaal also accused Tanishk of buying fake bot views and likes for his latest song for Toxic, penning, “You’re the one that’s flummoxed and almost depressed all over again as to how your s*&t song isn’t working in spite of bot views fake likes & comments. You wanted to create hype around the release and you thought of bringing your song with mine….On the same day? You are literally the right composer for a movie called Toxic. Your soul is filled with toxicity.”
In a particularly acerbic note on his X page, Amaal penned, “You are a old man now at 55 years age, and still you don’t understand that perception and imagery is secondary, first is art.” Amaal also accused Tanishk of passing off AI-enhanced vocals as his own, adding, “I know the real voice! It’s just like the squeal of a rat that’s caught in a trap. The audacity to call it original when everything in the track is AI.”
Referring to Tanishk’s deleted post about YRF not paying royalties, Amaal wrote, “Sell your car collection. You have all that, and still you are lying about YRF for 7-8 lakhs’ royalty?”
In a previous post, Amaal had also accused Tanishk of unfairly stealing the Saiyaara song credits from Faheem Abdullah and Arsalan Nizami. The MS Dhoni composer also alluded to some serious allegations of sexual harrassment upon Tanishk Bagchi.
