After 'Tabaahi', the makers of Toxic has unveiled a new song titled 'Manamohaka'.. While the song makes way for romance, it has an underlying moment that is completely in sync with the world Yash and Geetu Mohandas have created, proving that in Toxic, love doesn't follow familiar rules.
The film's second song shifts the focus to Raya and Rebecca, played by Yash and Tara Sutaria. Their relationship is built on easy conversations, playful moments and quiet affection rather than grand declarations. Raya is still the man audiences met in Tabaahi, but Rebecca brings out a side of him that feels lighter, even if danger is never too far away.
The song also reminds viewers that Raya and Rebecca's story is only one part of a much larger picture. Kiara Advani and Nayanthara appear briefly, but their presence is enough to spark fresh questions about how the characters are connected and where the story is headed.
For the Kannada version, lyricist Pramod Maravante takes over after Yogaraj Bhat, who wrote 'Tabaahi'. Maravante keeps the lyrics simple, allowing the visuals and the performances to take centre stage. Siddharth Basrur, who has sung the track across all five language versions, gives the melody a gentle, heartfelt touch. Composed by Tanishk Bagchi, Arslan Nizami and Faheem Abdullah, the song has been released as 'Madhosh' (Hindi), 'Manamohaka' (Kannada), 'Manasaagadhe' (Telugu), 'Thadumaarudheyyy' (Tamil) and 'Madhu Mohini' (Malayalam).
Written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas and directed by Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has been shot in Kannada and English, with dubbed versions in several Indian languages. Produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, the film stars Yash, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Nayanthara, Rukmini Vasanth and Huma Qureshi, and is scheduled to release in theatres on August 26, 2026.
Speaking about the song, composer Tanishk Bagchi said reuniting with Arslan Nizami and Faheem Abdullah for Toxic made Madhosh especially meaningful. He said the song captures Raya and Rebecca's journey through "love, longing and the playful nuances of romance", adding that the team hopes audiences connect with it as deeply as they did while creating it.
Siddharth Basrur said the song is "everything that's left unsaid between two people", explaining that he wanted the vocals to explain honesty and vulnerability than just heartbreak.
