On Tuesday, ZEE5 released the announcement teaser of one of its upcoming projects, season 4 of Rangbaaz. Mohit Raina plays the lead role in the upcoming action-thriller series.

Edited with a slick, montage-like style, Rangbaaz season 4 teaser establishes the driving philosophy of its protagonist (Mohit Raina), who lives by the law of jungle. As we see many visuals of him thrashing his rivals to a pulp with brute force, we hear his thoughts about how ideas like truth, kindness, and justice are human creations, conceived by those who couldn’t prove their might. “Now it’s time for judgment, not justice,” he proclaims as he see his bloodied face, carrying a knife in his mouth.

Directed by Ranjan Chandel, the series also features Vijay Raaz, Arunoday Singh, Pawan Malhotra, Zoya Afroz, and Rahul Dev in the lead cast.  Ranjan is known for directing shows like Bamfaad (2020) and the much-acclaimed Grahan (2021), which too features Zoya Afroz in a key role. Ranjan also directed one episode of season 2 of Rangbaaz.

Season 2 of Rangbaaz featured Saqib Saleem as the protagonist.  Jimmy Sheirgill played the lead in season 2 of Rangbaaz, which premiered in 2019, while season 3 (2022) was headlined by Vineet Kumar. A streaming premiere date for Rangbaaz season 4, meanwhile, is yet to be announced. 

Mohit Raina was last seen in the OTT series Kankhajura, which also featured Roshan Mathew and Sarah Jane Dias in the lead cast, and had its premiere in May last year on SonyLiv.
