Ranbir Kapoor recently made a big property investment, as he purchased 25 acres of land in Mulshi region near Pune, with property amounting to nearly Rs 16.5 crores. The investment deal involves four adjoining land parcels located in Pimpri village. The registration for the deal was completed a few weeks ago, on April 30.
This investment by Ranbir comes after another major real estate purchase by Ranbir earlier this year, when he reportedly purchased a land parcel in Ayodhya. The deal, reportedly valued at approximately Rs 3.3 crores for a 2134-square-feet plot, is part of ‘The Sarayu,’ The House of Abhinandan Lodha’s luxury plotted development located along the banks of Sarayu River that features premium residential plots.
About his Ayodhya property investment, Ranbir had said earlier, “I believe Ayodhya has chosen me, and I have just answered this calling. Ayodhya is deep rooted in our history and is a critical part of our cultural fabric. This land at The Sarayu became my gateway to ensuring this becomes a part of my legacy for my family."
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Ranbir has two big releases coming up in the next 12 months. In November, the actor will be seen in Ramayana Part 1, the much anticipated mythological drama directed by Nitesh Tiwari which also stars Sai Pallavi, Yash, and Sunny Deol in prominent roles. In early 2027, the actor has Love & War, the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial period-romance which additionally features Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.
The actor was last seen in a theatrical release over more than 2 years ago in Animal (2023), the Sandeep Reddy Vanga film which remains his biggest hit so far.
