Anurag Kashyap’s 2023 film Kennedy, that had been struggling to get a release, will soon have its stremiere premiere. The film will be available for streaming on ZEE5 in February, although a specific date is yet to be announced.

Taking to his Instagram page, Anurag shared the trailer of his film to share the streaming announcement. “Finally our labour of love, angst and all things in between “Kennedy” is coming home after travelling the world on ZEE5 .All I can say is I am grateful for having been able to make this film , my team , my producers , my Studio and at the end of the day - jab jab Jo Jo hona hai tab tab so so hota hai,”  he captioned the post.

Produced by Umesh Kumar Bansal, Ranjan Singh, Akshay Thakker, and Kabir Ahuja, Kennedy told the story of an ex-cop (Rahul Bhat) who continues to operate as an assassin for Mumbai police, often executing unlawful activities, while being baited for some information he has been waiting since years. How he gets involved in high-rung socio-political nexus that has much darker secrets buried underneath.

Rahul Bhat and Sunny Leone play lead roles in the psychological thriller. Aamir Aziz makes a special appearance as a stage artist whose poltically aware poetry tied the narrative together.

The film had its India premiere at MAMI festival in 2023. However, the film was since struggling to find a theatrical release as well as a streaming premiere. A few weeks ago, the film arrived on Letterboxd's online rental services worldwide, while remaining unavailable in India.

Meanwhile, Anurag Kashyap has another film, Bandar, in the pipeline that is yet to have a theatrical release plan.
