Rani Mukerji, who is currently busy promoting her upcoming film Mardaani 3, recently appeared for a light-hearted interaction on the Great Indian Kapil Show. During the same, the Mardaani actor shared many nuggets about her husband Aditya Chopra and his personality, including the one thing he stopped doing because of her disinterest.

Talking to Kapil Sharma, Rani stated, “In the beginning, Adi gave me a lot of surprises. Then he realised it's better not to give.” Rani attributed the change in his behaviour to her transparent face. “A lot of times, while giving a surprise, he thought it would make me very happy. But I cannot hide anything; it all shows on my face. I tried to pretend to be happy, but it didn’t show. Then he was like, ‘Nobody can give you surprises’,” she added.

At the same time, Rani described Aditya as an extremely ‘romantic person,’ stating, “Love and other things are secondary, but when you get married, you should do it with someone who is a great human being."

While speaking about her relationship with Aditya Chopra, Rani also fondly noted how they continue to celebrate Lohri since many years as a family tradition. She said, “We celebrated Lohri every year until Adi’s mom was around. Now while she is no more, but we follow the tradition. I love the festival. I like breaking sugarcanes with Adi."

On a professional front, Rani was last seen in Mrs Chatterjee vrs Norway (2023), which bagged her a National Award. Mardaani 3 will be her first theatrical release in nearly 3 years. Incidentally, the upcoming film is also produced by Aditya Chopra.

1996 also marks completion of 30 years for Rani in the industry.
