We had reported in November last year about Siddhant Chaturvedi and Mrunal Thakut joining hands for a romantic film titled Do Deewane Seher Mein. The film is slated for a theatrical release on February 20, a week after the Valentine’s week. On Monday, the makers unveiled the official teaser of their film.

By the looks of it, Do Deewane Seher Mein promises to be a soulful love story about two young people (played by Siddhant and Mrunal) living in Bombay who find a soulmate in each other as they rediscover the city together and its myriad forms. The teaser also stands out for its pleasant visual palette, which fits in great sync with the warm, sunny quality of its concept.  The film borrows its title from the iconic song ‘Do Deewane Seher Mein’ from the 1977 film Gharaonda. The makers even use a remixed version of the same for their teaser.

The makers captioned the teaser announcement post,‘Kyunki har 'isq' perfect nahi hota, par kaafi hota hai. Witness iss seher ki ek imperfectly perfect love story.’ (Because every romance is not perfect, but is enough nonetheless. Witness an imperfectly perfect love story).

Do Deewane Seher Mein is directed by Ravi Udyawar, who is known for making films like Mom and Yudhra. Besides Siddhant and Mrunal, the film features Ila Arun, Joy Sengupta, Ayesha Raza, Viraj Gehlani, Sandeepa Dhar, Deepraj Rana, Mona Ambegaokar, Achint Kaur, and Naveen Kaushik in the ensemble cast.

Abhiruchi Chand has penned the story, screenplay, and dialogues for the film. Cinematography and editing is by Kaushal Shah and Monisha Baldawa.

Do Deewane Seher Mein is produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Prerna Singh, Umesh Kumar Bansal, and Bharat Kumar Ranga under the banners of Bhansali Productions, Zee Studios, Rancorp Media, and Ravi Udyawar Films.
