Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, who rose to limelight with her work in Television, will be making her OTT debut with the upcoming series Ab Hoga Hisaab.  The actor recently spoke about her working experience on the series, and the challenges and perks of long-form storytelling.

Talking about making return to long-form storytelling with Ab Hoga Hisaab, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia shared in an official statement, “Getting back on a longer-format set honestly felt a little unreal at first. After working on films, returning to a space where the story unfolds over time brings back a different kind of excitement. Long-format shows give you the time to really sit with your character, understand their layers, and grow with them. You’re not rushing from one emotional beat to another - instead, you get to process things more deeply, both for yourself and for the story.”

Further talking about Ab Hoga Hisaab, Nimrit said, “What I truly enjoy about a series like this is the room it gives you to play. You can explore silences, contradictions, and emotional shifts in a much more detailed way. As an actor, that space is very valuable because it helps you build a stronger relationship with your character and the script. It’s demanding, but it’s also incredibly rewarding.” Nimrit also made her film debut last year with the Punjabi film Shaunki Sardaar where she starred opposite Guru Randhaawa.

Ab Hoga Hisaab also stars Sanjay Kapoor, Shaheer Sheikh, Harman Singha, Aasheema Vardaan, and Mouni Roy. The official trailer of the series was unveiled three weeks ago.

Directed by Divyanshu Malhotra and produced under Arre Studios banner, the series will soon premiere on MX Player.
