The first poster and release date of Avinash Tiwary and Medha Shankr starrer Ginny Wedss Sunny 2 is out. Written and directed by Prasshant Jha, the film is set to release in theatres on April 24.
The poster shared by the makers on social media shows Avinash in the guise of a wrestler doing push-ups and Medha sitting atop him. “Ginny and Sunny are Back! Rishta fixed hai bas iss bar thoda sa Twist hai! (The wedding is fixed but this time there is a twist),” reads the caption.
The first Ginny Weds Sunny released in 2020 and featured Yami Gautam and Vikrant Massey. It was a rom-com directed by Puneet Khanna and written by Navjot Gulati along with Sumit Arora.
The sequel also features Lillete Dubey, Sudhir Pandey, Govind Namdev, Gopi Bhalla, Nayani Dixit, Vishwanath Chatterjee and Rohit Chaudhary.
