Adarsh Gourav and Shanaya Kapoor starrer Tu Yaa Main is set for a theatrical release on February 13, clashing against Shahid-Triptii’s O’Romeo. On Thursday, the Tu Yaa Main makers released their new rap single, ‘Naam Karu Bada,’ which also marks rapping debut for Adarsh.

Composed and produced by Sez on The Beat, ‘Naam Karu Bada’ is a groovy rap number, catchy in its rhythm and capturing the determined rise of an artist above all barriers. 7 Bantai’Z has penned the lyrics.

The music video for ‘Naam Karu Bada,’ directed by Yazad Anklesaria, is shot almost entirely on outdoor locales, captures the gritty rugged vibe of Mumbai streets. While the track brings together sharp lyrics, pulsating beats, the video for the film complements the track’s edgy energy with a dynamic set design and an unapologetic vibe, further amplifying Adarsh’s striking screen presence.

Adarsh, who is a trained singer, has previously released many singles including another song for the film, titled ‘Jee Liya’ which has has sung with Lothika.

Tu Yaa Main promises to present an interesting blend of genres, focusing as much on the urban romance between its two protagonists who hail from opposite strata of society, as on the creature drama element, featuring a crocodile at the centre. The film's trailer was unveiled two weeks ago.

Bejoy Nambiar, who has made films like David, Shaitaan, and Wazir, helms direction for Tu Yaa Main.  The film is produced by Aanand L Rai, Himanshu Sharma, Vinod Bhanushali & Kamlesh Bhanushali.
