Actor Parul Gulati is also a part of the upcoming date-fright film Tu Yaa Main, featuring Shanaya Kapoor and Adarsh Gourav as leads. Parul will be playing the role of Laira, the friend and manager of Shanaya’s character Avani Shah aka Miss Vanity, an influencer, in the Bejoy Nambiar directorial. She is also referenced in the film's teaser, in the now iconic dialogue which Shanaya mouths, "Laira, tu aedi ho gayi hain kya bacchi?' (have you gone mad?). The film has been produced by Aanand L. Rai’s Colour Yellow productions.
Speaking about her role, Parul said, “I am honestly still trying to soak it all in. Laira is Shanaya’s friend and manager, someone who stands by her fiercely, questions her, supports her, and is very real. What excited me the most is that she’s not just a side character — she’s an important emotional anchor in the story.”
Opening up further about the collaboration, Parul added, “As an actor and as a creator, this is truly the best collaboration I could have ever gotten. Aanand L Rai’s world is so theatrical, layered, and emotionally rich — it’s the kind of cinema I have always admired and wanted to be part of.”
Parul was last seen in the Kapil Sharma-headliner Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 (2025).
