‘Ishq Ka Fever’, a new, romantic number from Vishal Bhardwaj’s upcoming film O’Romeo was shared by the makers on Monday. Picturised on the film’s leads, Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri, the song has been written by Gulzar, crooned by Arijit Singh with music by Vishal.

The song traces the budding love between Shahid’s gangster Arjun Ustara and Triptii’s damsel in distress Ashraf. It is hinted in the song that Shahid has rescued Triptii from somewhere and the latter is now living in his den. The song is quintessential Vishal and Gulzar, with some modern, English words (“fever”) mixing with some chaste Urdu.

‘Ishq Ka Fever’ is the third song from O’Romeo. The previous ones being the soulful ‘Hum To Tere Hi Liye The’ and the dance number ‘Aashiqon Ki Colony.’

The film also features Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwary, Farida Jalal, Tamannaah Bhatia and Vikrant Massey in a special appearance.

O’Romeo, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, is slated to release on February 13.
