At the Prime Video 2026 slate event, the streamer had announced Vvaan as one of its biggest and most promising film projects. Billed as a supernatural thriller, Vvaan stars Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead. On Tuesday evening, the makers unveiled the first teaser of the film, also confirming the release date of the film.

The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest is set to arrive on September 25. The teaser establishes Sidharth’s character as a common man, who believes in rationality and yet somehow also shares a mysterious connection with a forest that keeps drawing him towards itself. Against all likelihood, the protagonist’s actions end up awakening a divine goddess. And now he must rise as the village’s saviour to protect everyone around. Tamannaah plays Mamta, the protagonist’s wife who however is a strong believer of god. 

The Vvaan also promises to showcase Sunil Grover in a new light, with him playing a menacing antagonist. The ensemble cast includes Maniesh Paul, Shweta Tiwari, and Anup Soni.

Produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Arunabh Kumar, and Niraj Kothari, jointly under the banners of The Viral Fever and 11:11 Productions and presented by Balaji Telefilms, The Vvaan is directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra who has been long associated with TVF, and directed popular shows like Panchayat and Permanent Roommates.

Anurabh Kumar is credited as the writer, while Anandeshwar Dwivedi has penned the dialogues. 

Nitin Baid is the editor, while production design is jointly helmed by Amit Ray and Subrata Chakraborty. The Vvaan also has multiple composers on board like Vishal Mishra, Amit Trivedi, Tanishk Bagchi, and Sam CS. Sandeep Shirodkar has composed background score, while Parvez Shaikh is the action director.
