On August 21, actor Kareena Kapoor Khan was mired in pregnancy rumours after a certain paparazzi camera angle made everyone think she has a baby bump. Just a day after, she was again spotted in the city posing for photographs with the paparazzi. This time, however, the shutterbugs apologised to her for spreading the video which started the speculation.

During the appearance, Kareena was seen smiling as the paparazzi said sorry to her. She jokingly said, “Pagal kar dete ho tumlog (You guys drive us mad),” before getting into her car.

Kareena also appeared to laugh off the pregnancy rumours on social media. She took to Instagram and shared a picture of a man flaunting his bloated stomach, accompanied by the song ‘Chocolate, Lime Juice’ from Hum Aapke Hain Koun (1994). She added laughing and pizza emojis, seemingly hinting that food could have been behind the appearance of a bump that sparked the speculation.

Earlier, Kareena’s sister-in-law and jewellery designer Saba Pataudi had dismissed the pregnancy rumours on social media. She wrote, “A bad angle ... Or a bad hair day! How can everyone assume another extreme!! She walked out of an airport looking slick, classy and slim, and today out of a gym! That's it!! I've been convincing my sister to have a 2nd child ... wish that was true! She'll kill me for saying it! Live n let live guys. Some things are left private. No speculation needed. With love n respect.”

Kareena married actor Saif Ali Khan in October 2012 after dating for several years. The couple has two sons, Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan.

On the word front, Kareena will next be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s Daayra. The investigative-drama also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and is scheduled to release on September 18.
