Saif Ali Khan is celebrating his 56th birthday today, August 16, and to mark the occasion his wife and actor Kareena Kapoor Khan took to social media to share some pictures from their vacation, along with a sweet note for her husband.
On Sunday, Kareena took to Instagram to share some pictures from their holiday. In one, they can be seen enjoying the ocean’s cool breeze on a boat as Kareena clicks a selfie. Another picture captures the couple posing together, with Kareena in a white bikini while Saif beside her in a white shirt and red shorts.
The pictures also show Kareena doing a pout during a long drive with Saif on the wheel. The final picture showed them posing for a mirror selfie in a lift.
In the caption, Kareena wrote, “Happy Birthday to my forever ride or die…♥️🌈 how boring would life be without you… This insta post pictures are all approved by him 🌈🤣♥️ loves it when I post his pictures." She also added 2008 film Tashan's song ‘Dil Dance Maare’ in the background — the same film that brought the two closer and sparked their romance.
Saif and Kareena fell in love while shooting for Tashan. The couple got married on October 16, 2012, in an intimate ceremony at Saif's Bandra residence in Mumbai. They welcomed their first son, Taimur Ali Khan, in December 2016, followed by their second son, Jeh, in February 2021.
On the work front, Saif will next be seen in Priyadarshan's Haiwaan, also starring Akshay Kumar. Kareena, on the other hand, is awaiting the release of Meghna Gulzar's Daayra which also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran.
