New posters of Manoj Bajpayee-headliner Governor: The Silent Saviour, unveiling the actor’s look for the film and also giving a glimpse of his co-star Adah Sharma, was unveiled by the makers on Monday. Directed by Chinmay Mandlekar, the film has been produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, known for backing movies like The Kerala Story (2023) and The Kerala Story 2 Goes Beyond (2026).

Apart from the face reveal of the cast, the posters also come with taglines that read, "Ab Bari Meri Hai (Now it is my turn)", "I Will Not Let India Fail", and "India Is On The Verge Of Bankruptcy, He Saw It Coming." All of these hint at a crucial phase of economic downfall in India.

The Instagram post bearing the posters was captioned: “This was a war.
There were no armies. Just one man… who refused to let a nation fall.”

The plot details of the film are still under wraps. Governor has been co-produced by Aashin A. Shah and written by Suvendu Bhattacharyjee, Saurabh Bharat, Ravi Asrani, and Vipul Amrutlal Shah. With lyrics by Javed Akhtar, the music of the film is composed by Amit Trivedi. It is set to release on June 12, 2026.
