The makers of Krishnavataram released the film’s first song, titled ‘Prem Ki Leela’ on Thursday. Shreya Ghoshal, Javed Ali and Suvarna Tiwari have sung the composition.

Penned by Irshad Kamil, ‘Prem Ki Leela’ sets the tone for the film’s emotional landscape where love is not singular, but many-layered, and where each perspective deepens the story being told. Featuring Radha, Satyabhama and Rukmini alongside Krishna, Prem Ki Leela presents love not as a singular emotion, but as an evolving experience. Prasad Shashte is the music composer, while the Thumri is composed by Swaradhish Dr. Bharat Balvalli.

The rousing track moves beyond conventional portrayals of divine love, capturing the emotional spectrum of its characters where love is both intimate and expansive, personal yet profound. The song also reflects the film’s larger canvas where every emotion contributes to a broader, more powerful narrative.

Directed by Hardik Gajjar, Krishnavataram is presented and produced by Sajan Raj Kurup and Shobha Sant of Creativeland Studios Entertainment along with Poonam Shroff and Parth Gajjar of Athasrikatha Motion Pictures. Siddharth Gupta, Sanskruti Jayana, Sushmitha Bhat, and Nivaashiyni Krishnan play the lead roles in the film.

The makers have billed it as the first chapter of a three-part cinematic franchise. The trailer, which was earlier shared with devotees at the sacred Krishna Janmabhoomi, marked the beginning of the film’s journey.

Krishnavataram is set for a worldwide theatrical release on May 7, 2026.
