Earlier in February, we had reported about the makers of Pati Patni Aur Woh Do postponing their film’s release. Now, the team has announced a new release date. Starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and Wamiqa Gabbi in lead cast, the comedy will arrive in theatres on May 15.

The makers also released a new poster on the occasion, which interestingly doesn’t feature the female leads — Instead, what we see is a hapless Ayushmann stuck in a net, now finding himself in the company of a predatory leopard. “Shikari khud Ho Gaya Shikaar! Ab Jaal mein phas gaye humare Prajapati Pandey,” the makers captioned the announcement post.

The comedy is directed by Mudassar Aziz, and is the spiritual sequel to the filmmaker’s 2019 hit Pati Patni Aur Woh. Bhushan Kumar and Renu Ravi Chopra are producing the film. The ensemble cast includes Vijay Raaz, Tigmanshu Dhulia and Ayesha Raza.

Pati Patni Aur Woh Do marks Ayushmann’s maiden collaboration with Sara as well as Wamiqa. Ayushmann and Rakul Preet had previously worked together in Doctor G (2022).
