Chand Mera Dil, Ananya Panday-Lakshya starrer romance, is set for May 22 release. On Tuesday, the makers resumed the promotions for their film by launching the first single, which is the title track.

Sung by Faheem Abdullah, ‘Chand Mera Dil’ is a heavy romantic number, capturing the intensity and melancholy of a romantic relationship between the lead couple, played by Ananya and Lakshya. What adds to the intensity is the use of a rock-heavy sound by Sachin-Jigar and the visuals which adequately capture the song’s mood, also giving audience first glimpse into the emotional landscape of the film. Amitabh Bhattacharya has penned the lyrics.

Talking about their composition, Sachin-Jigar said, “Our aim was to craft a melody that feels both timeless and fresh. We focused on letting the emotion guide the composition, keeping it minimal yet deeply impactful, so every note stays with the listener long after. Collaborating with Amitabh Bhattacharya is always a wonderful experience, and Faheem’s soulful vocals truly elevate the magic." Meanwhile, Faheem Abdullah, who became a nationwide sensation last year with Saiyaara title track, said, “There’s a delicate innocence in ‘Chand Mera Dil’ that instantly captivated me to sing it. The song isn’t just about love; it’s about those quiet moments that define it. I wanted my voice to mirror that intimacy, carrying warmth, honesty, and a deeply personal emotion that connects with every listener."

The song was earlier scheduled for a launch on Monday. However, the makers decided to postpone the same as a mark of respect for Asha Bhosle, who passed away two days ago. 

Chand Mera Dil is directed by Vivek Soni who last directed Aap Jaisa Koi. Presented by Dharma Productions, the film is produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Somen Mishra, and Marijke deSouza, the movie is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on May 22 where it will clash against Bandar and Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai.
