Saiyaara filmmaker Mohit Suri, who completed 21 years as a director last months, turns 45 today. On the occasion, his Saiyaara actor Aneet Padda penned an emotional note for the filmmaker, also sharing a BTS video from Saiyaara shoot.
Taking to her Instagram page, Aneet posted, “You’re a bit like an alchemist, catching things most people miss, quiet pain, love hidden in the eyes and turning it into something we can all feel And somehow it doesn’t stay yours, it becomes ours.”
Aneet also thanked Mohit Suri for teaching her ‘the courage to feel out loud and to lead with it.’ “You’ve shown me a really beautiful way to live. You’re the most human human I know. You’re Mohit Suri,” she said. Also affectionately referring to him as ‘my momo,’ Aneet concluded her note with the words, “Your purpose finds you every time you create. Thank you for doing what you do, thank you for being you. I love you. Forever and ever and ever.”
In the video, Aneet can be seen trying to prank Mohit Suri, which turned out to be a failed attempt however. Mohit can be heard saying in the video, “I have children at home. They do this everyday.”
Saiyaara, which also marked debut for Ahaan Panday, turned out to be a major hit at the box office, while also dispelling many industry theories about the status of romantic films in current times.
While Ahaan is next working with Ali Abbas Zafar, Aneet’s upcoming project is Shakti Shalini, which is a part of the Maddock Horror-Comedy Universe.
