‘Tum Mere Na Huye’, the first song from Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna and Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer horror-comedy Thamma was released by the makers on Monday. Picturised chiefly on Rashmika, the song is a peppy-sad anthem of unrequited love. In the voice of Madhubanti Bagchi, the song has been composed by Sachin-Jigar with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya.

The music video shows Rashmika, dressed in a shiny red dress, sultrily swaying on hard-hitting beats in a gothic background. Ayushmann is also seen in the video, looking sinister.

Previously the trailer of the film was unveiled by the makers. It introduced us to Alok (Ayushmann) who turns into a vampire after an encounter with Nawazuddin’s Yakshasan. As Alok unravels his new powers, he falls in love with Rashmika’s Tadaka and has to prepare with a final showdown with Yakshasan.

Written by Niren Bhatt, Suresh Mathew and Arun Fulara and helmed by Munjya (2024) director Aditya Sarpotdar, Thamma will also feature Paresh Rawal and Sathyaraj in pivotal roles.

The film features music and background score by Sachin-Jigar with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya.

Produced by Dinesh Vijan, Amar Kaushik and co-produced by Sharada Karki Jalota, Pooja Prem Patheja, Thamma will be released in theatres on Diwali on October 21.
